💬 Behind every story of our visitors are experienced trials, a search for support, and small steps towards recovery.
Today we are sharing the story of Olena, who, together with her children, found support in our socio-rehabilitation space 🫂
"At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we were in Kherson with the children. Due to the war, it became very difficult, stress appeared. Fear for Ukraine appeared.
I heard about the space from an acquaintance, Natasha, and read good reviews on Facebook. So the children and I decided to visit it. We were met by a friendly, sociable team.
Have you noticed any improvement in your child's condition or your own after classes or consultations with specialists?
The condition has significantly improved for both me and the children. The psychologist of the space, Zinaida Skliar, taught us exercises for first psychological self-help.
Iryna Safonova, a social work specialist, helps to gain resources and inspiration for life. A good team works in the space."
The project is implemented within the EMPOWER project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) jointly with the European Union and implemented by GIZ Ukraine.
