Summarizing the visit to the Novovorontsovka community, we can say one thing โ the children of the Kherson region are inspiring. Hundreds of smiles, sincere words, and touching stories about how they strive to learn, despite the war.
As part of the "Accessible Education for Children of Kherson Region" project, the NGO โPVDNโ team delivered stationery kits to schoolchildren in six educational institutions of the community:
- ๐ Liubymivka School โ 66 kits;
- ๐ Novovoskresenske School โ 47 kits;
- ๐ Myroliubivka Gymnasium โ 21 kits;
- ๐ Novovorontsovka Lyceum โ 242 kits;
- ๐ Khreshchenivka School โ 18 kits;
- ๐ Osokorivka School โ 15 kits.
Once again, we are convinced: children inspire us to act. They continue to learn, dream, and believe in a better future, no matter what.
The "Accessible Education for Children of Kherson Region" project is implemented within the multi-donor project "Strengthening War-Affected Communities in Ukraine through Local Initiatives (EMPOWER)", funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) jointly with the European Commission's Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
